As this season of Dancing with the Stars drags toward the end, Julianne Hough doesn't have good news about the upcoming season:
She won't be appearing on it.
"I'm not [going back] next season," she said in an interview on Ryan Seacrest's radio show today. "But I love that show."
Just days after her break-up with Chuck Wicks, Hough said she's focusing on her movie career, which includes the upcoming Footloose remake with Chace Crawford and the the musical Burlesque opposite Christina Aguilera.
She also found time to attend last night's New Moon premiere and, as you can see below, looked as gorgeous as ever at the event:

What breakup? Supposedly splitsville couple Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were seen stepping out together to see Jay-Z's concert Sunday night at UCLA.
The couple watched the concert from the sound booth. Oddly enough, as we reported earlier, Rihanna joined Jay-Z on stage, to the surprise of the audience.
Justin Timberlake and Rihanna were rumored to have hooked up in September. While this was never confirmed, it coincided with JT and JB's reported split.
Just the same, and despite rumors that it's over between Jessica and Justin, they looked very together, and as happy as could be, at the Jay-Z concert.

Michael Lohan is a pretty terrible parent. Who the heck leaks a taped phone call of his daughter bawling hysterically for help just to "prove a point" ... in the press.
Someone about to get served with a cease and desist letter for secretly taping several of these phone conversations he had with her a year or so ago, that's who.
Lindsay Lohan's former assistant, Jenni Muro, plans to send Michael Lohan just that, and should he release more dirt, as he threatens, legal action could be next.
Muro, who quit as Lindsay's manager in February, told TMZ that Lindsay's mercenary dad "has violated the privacy of the daughter he uses as a cash register."

In the tapes, Muro, who claims her own privacy was violated as well, talks about trying to save Lindsay's life, which as we all know by now is getting out of control.

Carrie Prejean is a hypocritical idiot. That's as nicely as we can put it.

Well, in her new tell-all book, she also blames "society" for her actions.
An entire passage of the waste of oxygen's memoir is dedicated to sexuality, and how our society's values do not value it appropriately. Here are her sage words:

That's all well and good, except for two points:

Speaking to TV Guide this week, Krupa said she hopes viewers of Dancing with the Stars don't think worse of her for donning her birthday suit. She said:
"The photos are so artistic and it's part of my background. I did Playboy before and for the people who support me and follow my career and see me on the show, I would hope it wouldn't change their views on me because it doesn't change who I am as a person."
Moreover, Krupa isn't exactly the only female to dance with stars and get nude for readers.
Overall, the beauty believes that making men drool over her naked body is empowering.
"Women should never feel like they can't do something. In a way, it's a man's world," she said, adding:
"Men get paid more than women for the same type of work, so this is empowering. It's saying, 'You're a woman, be strong. Don't hold back, don't be scared. Do whatever you want to do. If you have something to say, say it.' I think we should show women can rule."
Of course, when women can say and do what they want while actually wearing clothing, they'll truly have made progress in the world.
As we reported last week, Britney Spears brought the Circus tour down under, but has not received the welcome she expected ... or would have expected, if she had any clue where she was at the moment or what people were saying about her.
Fans have been complaining about the quality of her performance, even walking out of her concert in Perth, according to reports in the Australian media.
The cause? Disgruntled concertgoers apparently aren't thrilled what you would think would be the obvious realization that Britney Spears lip-syncs live.
That, and she gives "a lackluster performance overall," according to one paper, who went on to say that the sexy American songstress was just "boring."
Spears' promoter refuted claims of fans fleeing the Circus, telling The Australian newspaper "Britney is aware of all this and she's extremely upset by it."
We're just impressed she even knows she's in Australia.

Also issuing a carefully-worded response were reps for the venue where the Perth show was held: "From [our] perspective, the event was a huge success."
Not sure how well that response will go over with one woman who told The Australian, "What a waste of $200. I could have got four pairs of shoes for that."
To which The Hollywood Gossip would reply: 1. That sucks, but 2. This is a surprise? Go see Britney Spears live if you want, but how do you expect better?
Spears' manager, Adam Leber, came to her defense, claiming that it was the work of just one Australian journalist that sparked this whole lip-synch debate.
"It's unfortunate that one journalist didn't enjoy the show," he said. "Fortunately the other 18,272 fans in attendance did." Well, 18,271. Shoe lady didn't.
Perhaps the best comment on the story came from none other than a certain douchebag also in Australia promoting his album, who posted on his Twitter:
"If you're shocked that Britney was lip-syncing at her concert and want your money back, life may continue to be hard for you." LOL. So true, John Mayer.
After three years of dating, Jensen Ackles and Danneel Harris - who star on CW hits Supernatural and One Tree Hill, respectively - are engaged. Harris showed off her engagement ring over the weekend at the Breeders Cup.

In an interview with In Touch Weekly, the season one champion on For the Love of Ray J goes off on that show's star, accusing the amateur adult movie director of seeking attention over soulmates on his reality series.
Joanna “Cocktail” Hernandez also admits that Ray J broke her heart. Here are a few excerpts from the article:
On the end of their relationship: Things didn't feel right after the reunion. I tried to be his girlfriend, and then we went on tour and there were rumors that he was going to do season two. Riches also wants custody, for some reason, of the kids on ABC's soap opera All My Children, and is demanding a paternity test on Bristol Palin's son Tripp.

TLC really stands for Torturing Little Children (he may have a point there).
Jon Gosselin is really a woman on steroids (a stretch, but we'll buy it).

He is seeking "federal custody" of his 16 kids (whatever that means).
He has already sued Brad Pitt (he cites "Riches vs. Pitt"), Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Jennifer Aniston, Hannah Montana and Black History Month (!?), all of whom/which may or may not be in possession of his sperm.
This has been a lackluster season of Dancing with the Stars.
That has a lot to do with the abundance of Z-list celebrities, as few viewers got excited over Louie Vito or Mark Dacascos. But it also has a lot to do with another factor:
The absence of Julianne Hough.
The bombshell is on temporary leave from the show, as she pursues her country music dreams. We wish her the best of luck in this endeavor, but we also wish she'd reconsider and entertain us each week on DWTS. Also, it would be nice if she posed nude at some point.

Supermarket tabloids often invent cover stories and write ridiculous headlines in order to sell copies.
But we have no doubt the latest issue of Life & Style bucks this deceptive trend, as its lead story is 100% accurate: Kourtney Kardashian clearly loves pregnancy.
Why wouldn't she? Prior to getting knocked up, Kourtney was scarcely on the celebrity gossip radar.
"It wasn't something I expected or planned," Kourtney lied about in the interview.
Kardashian is giving so many pointless interviews that she forgets what she says in each one.
A few days ago, she lamented her severe weight gain. But in this magazine, she said:
"I love being pregnant. I'm excited to be a mom... I'm totally excited to gain weight, and I'm embracing it. I run around naked all day at home! I like that my body is changing. It's a beautiful thing."
So, will she and baby daddy Scott Disick get married?
"I never had a plan. Now I have so much to think about for the baby. I'll worry about myself later."
It's true. Getting married and setting a good example for your child is incredibly selfish. Nice to see Kourtney has a firm grasp on the situation.
Joe Jackson recently said son Michael is worth more dead than alive.
He's apparently taken that statement to heart - and to court.
Despite the fact that his famously wealthy son probably did not leave him any money for a very good reason, Joe claims there was "no justification" for him to be excluded from getting some money from Michael Jackson's estate.
He's asking a judge to grant him a monthly allowance.
The 80-year-old Joe filed papers in L.A. County Superior Court late last week, claiming the patriarch is "entitled to his own independent family allowance."
Leonard Rowe, who claims to have been MJ's manager at one point, says Michael used to give his mother Katherine up to $60,000 a month to live on, and Michael instructed her to give half of it to Joe, who she is still technically married to.
If that's true, it doesn't explain why he deliberately left Katherine 40 percent of his estate, and guardianship of his children, while not mentioning Joe.
Joe claims Michael's estate "earned more than $100 million dollars in the first seven weeks following Michael Jackson's death" and can afford it.
Well, obviously it can afford it. But would Michael want to pay the man who abused him physically and mentally and was often estranged from?
Joe says he has $15,425 in total monthly expenses he wants covered. Michael's will executors, John McClain and John Branca, say the elder Jackson's request "will be considered as are all requests for money from Michael Jackson's Estate."
Maybe Joe just feels he's earned it by making death threats against other people seeking to get money from his obsecenly rich, deceased son.
Jessica Simpson and Dolly Parton have a lot in common. Or at least two pretty major things in common. Well, two things plus blonde hair and country music.
The famously busty pair found common ground this week on Twitter, faced with the difficulties of lugging those things around with them every single day.
"Aahhh chiropractor... Hurts so good :-) you lug these around and see if your back don't hurt!" Parton posted to her Twitter account on Monday morning.
Jessica Simpson responded to the tweet with an "Amen sister :)."

He may blame his financial advisor, but it looks like the recent financial problems that left Nicolas Cage broke are, shockingly, at least partly his own fault!
After all, we are talking about the kind of outrageous, eccentric spending you think about with celebrities but puts his flamboyant counterparts to shame.
If you can dream it, Nicolas Cage bought it: yachts, a jet, a castle, over 50 cars, over a million dollars' worth of comic books, multiple (supposedly haunted) mansions in New Orleans, two Bahamanian islands, a $500,000 Lamborghini, etc.
Cage's lawyer, Martin Singer, told The Daily Beast "Half the stuff you say is false. I'm not going to get into detail," so we may never know which half is true.
Nicolas Cage is broke. That's due in part to buying ... well, everything.
Cage made headlinesn when he filed a $20 million lawsuit against his former business manager, Samuel Levin, claiming he failed to pay taxes and lost money in unsound investments, putting him "down a path toward financial ruin."
This summer, the IRS placed a tax lien of over $6 million on Cage's New Orleans homes for unpaid income taxes. Very sad, but it's hard not to look at Cage's extreme spending and not draw conclusions about his money woes.
Of course, however lavishly Cage spent on himself, he's also been a very generous guy. The actor gave $1 million to the Red Cross to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina, and $2 million to the human-rights group Amnesty International.
She was a good sport when she was rudely interrupted on stage at the MTV Music Awards, and now Taylor Swift will have her chance to get back at Kanye West.
The “White Horse” singer is hosting “Saturday Night Live” this weekend, and judging by a recent commercial promoting the show, is not afraid to poke fun of Kanye for stealing spotlight announcing that Beyonce should’ve won.
On the heels of his break-up with Drake LaBry, Adam Lambert says he's ready to test the single scene.
"I will date on tour," he said simply at the world premiere of 2012 in Los Angeles yesterday, though no tour has actually be announced yet for the singer.

Now Lindsay Lohan has taken her crusade against her estranged father, Michael, a step further and asked her attorney to take legal action, pronto.
The reason? Three minutes of a recorded audio tape released by him today reveal the troubled star's heart-wrenching and desperate plea for help.
The Lohan tape is the first of several which were recorded from phone calls Lindsay and mom Dina made to Michael, who leaked it to "prove a point."
The tape reveals a tortured, inconsolable Lindsay who whimpers like a child as she complains about problems with family and ex Samantha Ronson.
At one point, she wails, “No one cares about me ... It’s about how they feel, not how I feel. It’s not about me. It’s never been, unless I fight for it.”
The alleged actress contacted her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, Wednesday, to request an immediate restraining order against Michael Lohan.
B!TCH PLEASE: Train wreck Lindsay Lohan has had enough of her loudmouth dad and his so-called efforts to help her wreckalicious a$$, thankyouverymuch.
Don't ask us who records their daughter's phone calls on a routine basis, but whatever point he's trying to make, Michael is going about it all wrong.

Chapman Holley is also getting in touch with authorities in New York, trying to find out if Michael Lohan may be in violation of a criminal protective order.
As THG readers know, we've taken pleasure in mocking Carrie Prejean throughout her ridiculous ordeal with the Miss California pageant.
But even we had grown tired of this story, were happy to report that the two sides reached a settlement this week and were excited to move on to other items, such as the incredible Robsten spread in Harper's Bazaar.
However, Carrie is clearly the hypocritical gift that keeps on giving. TMZ reports the reason why the disgraced beauty queen was so quick to settle (for no money) with pageant officials:
Because their lawyers produced a homemade Prejean sex tape into evidence.
Carrie Prejean supporters were right all along: this photo is nothing, especially when compared to the sex tape Prejean filmed of herself.
The video depicts Prejean pleasuring herself. TMZ claims it actually saw footage from it months ago, but didn't publish it due to the graphic nature.
Once Carrie was made aware of her solo exploits possibly going public, she backed away from the negotiating table. Pageant officials will foot the $100,000 bill for her attorney and publicist, but the Jesus-loving porn star gets nothing.
Her book, however, hits stores this month. Insiders say a rumored title for Still Standing had been Carrie Prejean: Gay Marriage Sucks, I Swallow.
The lil' fella weighed in at 6 lbs., 3 oz., and the new parents are thrilled with their bundle of joy. "Both mother and baby are happy and healthy," her rep said.

She wasn't due for another few weeks, but reports say Mel Gibson’s girlfriend/fiance Oksana Grigorieva is said to have given birth to their baby - a girl.
Oksana Grigorieva gave birth Friday, a bit early but everything went well and both mom and daughter are doing just fine, according to Radar Online.
The website reports that mom and the baby are already home.
Mel’s affair with Oksana was uncovered earlier this year by celebrity gossip media after a series of photos of the cozy couple in Costa Rica surfaced.
This while Mel’s marriage was apparently dunzo.

Mel’s wife Robyn filed for divorce in April, 2009, shortly after the photos were public and Mel admitted he was romantically involved with Oksana Grigorieva.
Mel and Robyn were married 29 years; their marital assets are estimated at around $900 million. Currently, Mel says he has no plans to wed his baby mama.
Mel has six sons and one daughter with Robyn.
Oksana, a Russian singer and lingerie model, has a 12-year-old son with James Bond star Timothy Dalton. She is an accomplished musician and composer.
She released her album Beautiful Heartache in July.
The actor and his girlfriend, actress Alicja Bachleda, welcomed their son Henry Tadeusz Farrell back on October 7. This is the couple's first child together.
Farrell confirmed he got Alicja Bachleda pregnant at the Toronto Film Festival in September. He has a 6-year-old son, James, with model Kim Bordenave.
The Irish star, 33, and the Polish actress, 26, began dating earlier this year after meeting while filming Ondine. That's gonna be a good-looking baby!
